The Knot Straight brand was created by Erika Michelle, a zebra auDHD lesbian home sewer and crafter. Like Erika, Knot Straight products are not straight & may have imperfections, but that's how you know they are one-of-a-kind & earth conscience. Erika puts thought & care into creating well-made pieces that minimize waste without compromising cuteness. The fabrics erika uses are upcycled, purchased on clearance, consignment or thrifted. Consequently, they may have slight cosmetic imperfections, but the flaws add a charm that won't affect the integrity of the piece. Using upcycled materials often limits quantity of each product, so if you see something you love, grab it before it's gone. Check the Knot Straight store often for newly added products.

I really enjoy sewing but due to my hEDS (hypermobility Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) cutting & sewing in a straight line is not always possible. Instead of giving up on sewing, I gave up the idea of perfection. I create well-made products with crooked lines. My products are knot straight but curvy is more fun anyway. " erika michelle
